KUMIKO hand made kit
Kumiko is a Japanese craftsmanship technique known since the 7th century, which consists in arranging geometric patterns from individual wooden slats without nails.
Traditionally, kumiko has been used to create architectural elements such as balustrades or sliding doors.
In addition, there are 200 different patterns, each with a name related to nature, as they are based on simplified motifs from nature's elements.
For the first time in Poland, we present the kumiko hand made kit offer!
These are semi-finished products that can be easily arranged and that way can be “tasted” this type of handicraft.
Each set includes precisely cut all the necessary wooden slats, a piece of sanding paper, glue (the model can also be assembled without glue) and instructions.
Using the QR code printed on the packaging, it is possible to find a movie presenting the assembly process of a given model.
