Tsuno asanoha – asanoha with horns
Asanoha 麻の葉 stands for hemp. This pattern is derived from the shape of their leaves when viewed from above.
Hemp has long been regarded as a sacred plant and has been used as a medicine.
It grows quickly and simply, and is very resistant. This pattern, therefore, aroused the belief that it has the power to ward off misfortunes.
